Ananthapuramu

How the district was formed

Notification No. 193 of the Revenue Department, dated 2 April 2022, made this change.1 The notification lists 31 mandals (sub-districts).1 They are in three revenue divisions (groups of mandals): Guntakal, Anantapur and Kalyanadurg.1

The name

The notification spells the name Ananthapuramu.1 This site spells the old district Anantapur.
