Inavolu
Village near Warangal with a temple of Mailara (Malleshvara). In 1369, after the fall of the Kakatiyas, the Recherla Velama chief Anapota-nayaka granted the village to this temple.

The Mailara temple
Inavolu (Ainavolu) lies about 8 miles from Warangal, a couple of miles off the road to Khammam.1 Its temple of the god Mailara, also called Mallara or Malleshvara, has a broken inscribed stone near its flagstaff.12
The inscription records a grant made on 19 July 1369 by Anapota-nayaka of the Recherla family.12 He was then ruling Orugallu and the Telugu country around it.12 He granted the village, under its old name Ayyanavolu, to the god Mailaradeva.12 The inscription’s genealogy of the Recherla chiefs recalls their service under the Kakatiya king Prataparudra.1 See the Inavolu inscription.
