ఇక్ష్వాకుల నాగార్జునకొండ దుర్గం నుండి 1757 బొబ్బిలి ముట్టడి, 1759 మచిలీపట్నం కోట స్వాధీనం వరకు — ఆధారాల ప్రకారం ముట్టడికి గురైన, చేతులు మారిన, లేదా ఎవరో ఒకరి అధీనంలో నిలిచిన కొండకోటలు, ప్రాకార పట్టణాలు. ఒక్కొక్క కోట కథ ‘కోటలు, యుద్ధాలు’ పుటలో ఉంది.
