Partial (Kurnool proper, the taluks of Ramallakota, Nandikotkur, Nandyal and Sirvel). The Mughals took Kurnool in 1686-88 and gave it as a jagir to the Pathan general Daud Khan Panni in the latter part of the seventeenth century (about 1698 in Burhanuddin); his kinsman Ibrahim Khan seized the fort in 1715, and his son Alif Khan acknowledged Asaf Jah in 1724. The French and Salabat Jang stormed Kurnool in March 1751 and held it for the Nizam until Ranmast (Munawwar) Khan recovered it in 1752.
